Following an unexpected delay, ZE:A‘s Kim Tae Heon has now been scheduled to make his debut as a mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter in the MMA Championship ‘Revolution 2’ which will take place on September 12th.
Tae Heon had posted two photos of himself from a photo shoot on his Twitter yesterday (August 27th), and tweeted, “September 12th Revolution 2 start, I won’t miss out on this opportunity again, I will give it my best shot!” as he revealed his confirmed participation.
In the photos, Tae Heon is seen fitted with his gear like gloves, and looked really muscular and agile. He also posed with a determined look for the camera, and drew much attention from fans.
Tae Heon had earlier drew much attention for being an active idol and participating in a MMA championship, that was scheduled to take place on August 15th. But the championship was then postponed indefinitely by the organizer at the last minute. Tae Heon had been receiving training from ‘Korean Zombie’ Chan Sung Jung all this while, but still kept up with training despite the cancellation. With ‘Revolution 2’ now rescheduled and confirmed for September 12th next month, Tae Heon is finally going to make his long-awaited debut.
‘Revolution 2’ will take place on September 12th at the SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium from 7PM (KST). It will not only be Kim Tae Heon’s debut match, as fans are also looking forward to seeing the ‘beautiful fighter’ Song Ga Yeon in action once more, after she won her first match at Road FC on August 17th.
