Amandier is located in a popular tourist hotspot between Samcheong-dong and Insa-dong, and the store’s name means ‘almond tree’ in French.

The store has been voted as the store selling the best tasting macaron in Korea by netizens, and some of their flavors like Raspberry Rose, Black Sesame, and Lavender, are usually not found elsewhere.

Many netizens would visit the store to get their macarons, and seats are always filled during weekends. There’s only one store, and it just adds more mystic. The store currently offers more than 10 flavors of macarons, and will release new flavors every now and then.

Macarons are the store’s main highlight, and you will definitely fall in love after seeing the rolls and colors of the macarons being decked out neatly. The Europe style breads are also worth trying, and they offer slicing services.

Do try their trademark macarons! Recommended flavors include: Raspberry Rose, Black Sesame, Salted Caramel, Earl Grey, and Lavender.

The store was originally furnished with two simple colors black and white, but it has recently added a tinge of bright yellow to its door frame at the entrance. Customers who get to sit by the windows, can get to see people walking by, and it makes for some experience.

The store has one floor, with 120 seats available, and no smoking is allowed indoors. You need not book seats in advance for small gatherings, but try avoiding weekends.
