Once again, Kpop dominated ‘The Japan Gold Disc Awards’ with numerous Korean artists receiving the honors.

Big Bang was the big winner taking home 5 prestigious awards including ‘Best Asian Artist.’

They also won the awards for ‘Album of the year (MADE)’, ‘Best 3 Albums (MADE)’, ‘Song of the Year (Bang Bang Bang Japanese Version – the Korean version was awarded last year),’ and ‘Best Music Video (BIGBANG WORLD TOUR 2015〜2016 [MADE] IN JAPAN).’

While iKON took home two awards, winning ‘New Artist of the Year’ and ‘Best 3 New Artists (Asia)’. FNC’s N.Flying was also awarded ‘Best 3 New Artists (Asia).’
Together with the previously mentioned Big Bang, BTS (Youth) and 2PM (Galaxy of 2PM)also took home the ‘Best 3 Albums’ award.
