This year welcomes Girls’ Generation 10th Anniversary and what’s make SONE most concern was the members contract renewal. Today, it is announced that Sooyoung, Tiffany and Seohyun are leaving the label and the remaining members of Girls’ Generation have decided to renewed their contracts under SM Entertainment.
According to the source on 9 October, Sooyoung, Tiffany and Seohyun have decided not to renew their contracts with SM Entertainment. However, remaining 5 members Taeyeon, Yoona, Hyoyeon, Yuri and Sunny will be continuing their career in the company.
In response to the news, SM Entertainment announces that: “Girls’ Generation is a precious group for SM and also to the fans. The members have no intention to disband, is just that there are members whose contracts are expiring. Future activities of Girls’ Generation will be announced after discussion.”
According to source, Tiffany will be returning to the states to pursue her studies, however, Sooyoung and Seohyun are planning to focus their promotions in acting.
No matter how SONE will continue to support Girls’ Generation right?
